As a Student doing his internship (work year) we have the freedom to explore and challenge ourself both in the country we are studying and the rest of the world as long as it has relevance to your degree.
London is a HUGE city and gives the impression of never ending streets with a combinations of thousands of people in the streets all the time. My first thought to this was, was this really the best choice? we moved into a 25 sqm student apartment, located 30 min busride distance from centre and it is ok, not more not less.
Around us there is only halal meat to get and a highly jewish neighbourhood. Not that that is bad in any form, just very unexpected.
I found the song to Mattafix - Big city life very suitable to the situation. (old but good)
Fanni has just started her internship within PR and Media while I am for the moment stay at home looking for Internship, i`m sure it comes soon and don`t really loose night sleep about it.
At the moment we have had some relaxing days enjoying london and really just eaten at nice restaurants, shopping and of course some obligatory new city, new impression sightseeing.
Just some Photos..
Picadilly Circus-Early New Years Eve
M`M World London

Have you ever been to London? and what did you enjoy the most?
Christer
London, nice... Hope you´ll get an educational and exiting time in the fabulous London. Been there a couple of times and I loved it there. Going back this summer... The best thing for me regarding London is all the history there, all the museums and the strong sense of political history. But that is not all that enjoy, but I´m a geek hehe.... Have a fab time Christer...
